Hello, yes it has been a while since I have blogged. I was a little annoyed during the typing of my last blog but have since gotten over it. What can I say, we all have our Goosfraba moments. Right now I am thinking about how many people I am proud of. People who have come a long way through a difficult time, people who have changed their lives around for the good and those who have reached their goals.
My neighbor went into work one day with a question about his job and walked out being the President of his own company! See what happens when you open your mouth? LOL! I am so proud of Rudy and all of his motivation, and his strive to get what he wants.
Tricia inspires me every day. With the loss of her baby, her healing amazes me. She is so strong, and her faith is incredible. I can see in her eyes that she is going to be ok. And, she knows she will be with Shane again and holds true to that. She is such a positive person and I know that her positivity helps her get through this difficult time. Love ya Tricia!!
Yvonne is my Premier Jewelry consultant who I LOVE! In recent weeks I have found out that our lives and our past are very similar. She has come such a long way and is such an awesome person. She is always smiling, always happy and upbeat and wonderful to be around. Unlike those who find happy, positive people annoying, I find them very uplifting and inspiring. She is such a wonderful person who has taught me a lot about direct sales and a lot about life in general.
These three people have touched my life so much in the last month....more than they could ever know. I feel so blessed to have them in my life.
What I am thankful for today...

The Anger Sharks are Swimming
Before I start I need to say.......Goosfraba. Maybe again...Goosfraba....Yes, today the anger sharks were swimming in my head, a line from Anger Management. LOL! It has come to my attention in the last few weeks that people actually get mad, annoyed, frustrated...whatever...at positive people. My question is "WHY?" Why on earth would the fact that a person is living their life as positive as possible, tick someone off or annoy them? Actually I know the answer to this. In therapy I have been discussing this with my counselor mainly because I was under the assumption that living positively would inspire people. While that is true to some point there is always those few who choose to look at it as annoying. Between my therapist and I we have come up with an answer to this question. It is quite simple and quite obvious. You know that saying, misery loves company? When I look at either the lifestyle of the annoyed person or maybe the fact that they are simply having a bad day, I can see that this has nothing to do with me or the person who is living positively. That annoyed or ticked off person is simply not happy. Whether it be stress, their health, something in their life that is making them unhappy, it is all because of the place that they are currently in in their own life. Misery does love company. So if you are listening to someone complain about how miserable they are and it brings you down to their level, you are right where they want you. When you are living positively a negative person cannot bring you down with them. Of course this annoys them. And, there may be a slight bit of jealousy or the fact that they may be envious that they cannot be in the positive place that you are. Then there are those who are just actually comfortable with being miserable. (You know, those who complain but never do anything to change the situation.) Goosfraba!
No matter what anyone thinks of your life, it is none of their business. And, if anyone is to complain, criticize or judge you, it will only end up hurting them in the long run. I have chosen to live my life as positive as possible. I have made choices to better myself and the lives of my children. Whether it is reading books, going to therapy, making myself healthier, whatever, it is all the perfect choice for me. Those who are my true friends have seen the change in me and have embraced the positive person I have become. My therapist has complimented on the huge change she sees in me and knows that because of my attitude I will accomplish great things and handle stress so much easier than someone who is negative. What may seem a crappy situation to a negative person, they may feel like they are drowning. However to a positive person in the same crappy situation, they can see a way to stay afloat and know better things are to come. Me, well my analogy for my life right now is this: I feel like I am jumping out of an airplane. The "AHHH" when you first jump, is over and not so bad. Right now I am floating in the air sometimes going to the right, sometimes to the left. Every once in a while I feel like I am suddenly falling fast, but it goes away quickly and I am back to floating. What keeps me soaring is knowing that I will have a soft landing when it is my time to fall and I will fall slowly and safely. My therapist LOVES this analogy. I am surrounded by so many friends and family who support every decision I make. Whether they agree with me or not, it doesn't matter. They see me happy and staying positive and that is all that matters to them.
I could sit here and say that I apologize for annoying people with my positive outlook on life...but I am not. How can I be sorry for something that I am doing to better myself and the people around me? If you are annoyed, then you need to take a good hard look at yourself. Are you honestly happy? If you aren't, then change it. Do not take out your misery on someone who is happy. It will only bite you in the butt in the long run and cause you end up alone and more miserable than before. Embrace the happiness in others and be grateful for it. They may end up teaching you a valuable lesson.
I am thankful for:
my true friends who do not judge me or criticize me
my family for supporting every decision I make
those who consider me an inspiration to them
open mindedness
Goosfraba
being surrounded by only positive people
The Secret
my therapist
my positive attitude and outlook on life
faith
hope
forgiveness
love
appreciation
selflessness
the get-together with Jer and my families today

the health and happiness of my children, family and friends
all negativity being erased from me and my life

The Joy Within
A quote from The Secret:
It is the joy within that creates a magnificent life on the outside. It doesn’t matter where you are, what you are doing, who you are with, or what is happening around you, you take the joy with you.
I kind of touched base on this last week. If we fill ourselves up with material things of course we feel instant joy. Did you ever notice how long it lasts? Not very long. When you are filled up with joy because of the people in your life, accomplishments you have made, and the feeling we get when we give to others, that is the true joy that lasts forever. Surround yourself with people you love, people that make you laugh, those who inspire you. Take a walk in nature and admire all that is there for YOU. Send an old friend a card, help someone load their groceries into their car, volunteer at a local shelter, even if it is only for a day. Be thankful for everything in your life. You will see a tremendous amount of things flow into your life that you have to be thankful for when you are showing gratitude. And, you will feel full of joy which will last you much longer than you can imagine. Because you are in joy, you will spread that to everyone around you.
I am so thankful that my sister-in-law passed The Secret on to me. I am even more thankful that Rhonda Bryne decided to take everything she had learned and everything she knew about The Secret and put it into a book to share with the world. I am thankful for each person who is featured in The Secret for sharing their own personal experiences as proof the The Secret is real. I am thankful that using The Secret has made my life so much more positive and so much more fulfilling. I am thankful for having an open mind and allowing myself to believe in The Secret despite what others may think or say. I am thankful for my angels who have guided me down the right path and have opened my eyes to a better future. I was meant to read this book and I was meant to put it into my life. It is working for me and I only hope that everyone around me allows me to inspire them to make the same positive changes that I have.

Life Has No Limitations
This has got to be one of my most favorite quotes:
Life has no limitations, except the ones you make. -Les Brown
How true is this? I remember as a child thinking, wow I have such a long life ahead of me, what am I going to choose to do with it? Now as an adult I realize that I still have a long life ahead of me and I have a lot of things I am going to do! Your life is limitless. You can do anything you want to do, you can be anything you want to be. If you are sick, you can be healthy, if you are poor, you can be rich. Do not put limits on yourself then sit there and pity yourself. If you are thinking that there is no way you can do something....then you are right. Tell yourself instead, that there is nothing you can't do. It is all in positive thinking that gets you to where you want to be. And remember the blog a few weeks ago.....key word.....BELIEVE. If you do not wholeheartedly believe, nothing will work for you. Start writing down the things you want or wish for. Write down your dream job, your dream vacation, details of your dream partner. If you believe that you deserve your dreams come true and focus on the fact that we have no limits...you will see amazing things happen! Good luck!
What I am thankful for today:
goals
dreams
the power to do anything
a warm sunny day today
getting a lot of things done today
laughter
love
creativity
my kids
my hair cut tomorrow
Makenna's smiles
Gavin's silliness

Selflessness
